Proposed Upper C Band Radar Altimeter Performance Standards

FreeFlight Systems supports the FAA’s efforts to define clear, minimum interference‑tolerance performance standards for radio altimeters under NPRM FR Doc 2026‑00051. As the proposed requirements and test criteria are not yet final, FreeFlight is actively reviewing the NPRM and will evaluate the RA‑4500 MK II, RA‑5500, and RA‑6500 against the finalized standards once issued. Compliance evidence and certification guidance will be provided in alignment with FAA timelines.
