Modernizing the UH-60A Black Hawk

In 2018, Tennessee-based aircraft modification, certification, and airworthiness qualification testing organization, XP Services, selected Genesys Aerosystems to provide a NextGen modernized avionics suite to upgrade the technologies onboard the UH-60A and EH-60A.

Genesys Aerosystems and XP Services comprise the most experienced and select professionals from U.S. military and OEM test organizations. The two companies identified the aircraft required a resilient and cost-effective NextGen avionics solution as part of this critical retrofit of the helicopters to keep it in service. It was also pointed out that Black Hawk operators required a flexible, incremental upgrade path to support constrained budgets and installation timeframes.
