FreeFlight Systems Announces New Director of Sales and Marketing

Sept. 23, 2015 –WACO, Texas – NextGen avionics leader FreeFlight Systems announced today that Peter Ring has been appointed as the company's director of sales and marketing.

Based in Irving, Texas, Mr. Ring is responsible for the implementation of sales initiatives, objectives and policies, data collection and market analysis, and overseeing staff operations, business planning and budget development among additional duties.

Known by industry peers as "the ADS-B Expert," Pete most recently served as the global aftermarket sales manager for FreeFlight System responsible for detailed data tracking, communication with global dealers and the development and execution of trade show presentations. Prior to joining FreeFlight, Mr. Ring held a sales leadership position at the Avidyne Corporation and is an active pilot with more than 16 years flying experience holding both private and commercial / instrument certifications.

FreeFlight Systems Announces Compatibility with Garmin GNS 430W and 530W Series of GPS Navigators

Added Functionality Provides Increased Flexibility for ADS-B Equipage

July 20, 2015 - Waco, TX - FreeFlight Systems announced today that the Company's line of RANGR ADS-B systems will interface with Garmin's GNS 430W/530W GPS Navigators. This compatibility will increase equipage flexibility as well as provide cost savings for those aircraft currently equipped with 430W/530W navigators.

FreeFlight's certified Blue Box transceiver system, the FDL-978-XVR, was designed with versatility in mind - the system is available for purchase without an internal GPS, allowing aircraft owners to utilize their existing GPS source for ADS-B compliance. RANGR 978

This integration was key in reducing costs, as an additional GPS source and antenna are not required. Customers will have the ability to display ADS-B traffic to their 430W/530W navigator for increased situational awareness.

When paired with a GNS 430W/530W navigator, the FDL-978-XVR provides full ADS-B capability - the system will be fully ADS-B compliant, with the added benefit of subscription-free weather and traffic information.

The FDL-978-XVR without an internal GPS is priced at $3,495, which includes antennas, installation kits and WiFi module to display weather and traffic to a compatible tablet device, and is immediately available for shipping. The XVR is easy to install, and requires only minimal integration to the aircraft. FreeFlight's line of Blue Box RANGR ADS-B systems have accumulated thousands of hours of operation across a broad spectrum of aircraft platforms, and integrates with several compatible tablet devices and in-flight apps.

FreeFlight Systems Announces ADS-B Hotline for NextGen Customer Support Needs - 1-844-ADS-BNOW

July 16, 2015 - Waco, TX - FreeFlight Systems announced today the creation of an ADS-B Hotline that will serve to support customer NextGen needs. FreeFlight's dedicated ADS-B Hotline is in place to increase support channels by offering customers peace of mind knowing that the Company provides dedicated NextGen support worldwide.

Upon dialing 1-844-ADS-BNOW, the customer will be put in touch with a member of FreeFlight's support organization. During normal business hours (8am to 6pm Central Standard Time), inquiries will be responded to within two hours. Inquires received outside of normal business hours will be responded to the next business morning. Dave Graham, FreeFlight's dedicated NextGen Customer Support Manager, will oversee Hotline operations.

Mr. Graham joined the FreeFlight support organization in April of 2015. Prior to joining FreeFlight, Mr. Graham held several sales and support roles at Gobosh Aviation, American Legend Aircraft and Symphony Aircraft. FreeFlight Systems Announces Immediate Availability of Low-Cost, ADS-B Rule-Compliant RANGR Lite Systems

Systems Achieve Approved Model List Certification and are Ready for Installation

June 29, 2015 – Waco, TX – FreeFlight Systems announced today that the Company's line of affordable ADS-B systems are now shipping, and are available for installation. The RANGR Lite systems recently received FAA Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) and Approved Model List (AML) certification.

Approved for installation in over 400 light general aviation (GA) aircraft, the RANGR Lite systems: the FDL-978-TXL and FDL-978-XVRL Universal Access Transceiver (UAT) ADS-B radios, have been designed and manufactured to meet the stringent quality standards required for ADS-B compliance, while offering the best value for aircraft equipage.

RANGRLITEThe RANGR Lite systems are available in two configurations; an ADS-B Out (only) system, the FDL-978-TXL priced at $1,995, and an ADS-B In/Out system, the FDL-978-XVRL priced at $3,695. Pricing for each system includes built-in WAAS/GPS, ADS-B and GPS antennas, an install kit, control head, and/or WiFi module if needed.

The RANGR Lite products are a part of the Company's Equip-It 2020 Program that offers ADS-B equipment for light GA aircraft that breaks the $2,000 barrier for a basic, but compliant, system. FreeFlight designed the Program in order to make it as easy as possible for light GA aircraft to take full advantage of the safety and additional benefits that ADS-B offers.
